An AI search plan you can inspect and measure.
For Brands that need visibility across Google AI experiences, ChatGPT-style search and answer engines.
Start with the questions customers actually ask
We map questions from discovery through comparison and purchase. A Vancouver contractor may need to explain service coverage, project scope and how quotes work. A professional firm may need to explain expertise, process and eligibility. Each answer belongs on a useful page with a clear next step.
Make the business and its evidence clear
We review public business facts, page purpose, original examples and supporting sources. Accurate structured data should describe visible content. Genuine project details and expert explanations provide stronger material than interchangeable pages or invented endorsements.
- Review crawl access, canonicals and internal links
- Clarify service scope and business identity
- Improve explanations and supporting evidence
- Keep profile and website facts consistent
Keep engine-specific requirements separate
Google says established SEO practices remain relevant to its AI search features. A supporting page must be indexed and eligible to appear with a snippet; special AI markup and llms.txt are not required. Other search products have their own discovery and citation behaviour, so we review the relevant guidance for each product.
A practical first engagement
Agree on the target services and a repeatable set of customer questions. Review the pages behind those questions, fix access problems, improve the priority answers and establish a baseline. The proposal identifies implementation ownership, deliverables and the follow-up review.
Measure citations, visits and leads separately
Record the product, question, market, date, cited page and answer accuracy for sampled AI answers. Keep linked citations, unlinked mentions, referral visits and confirmed enquiries separate. Where available, use the connected search platform’s own reports. A small sample is directional evidence, not a universal visibility score.
Questions about AEO & GEO
What is the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?
SEO improves discovery in search. AEO emphasizes answering customer questions clearly, while GEO commonly describes visibility in generated answers. The work overlaps. We keep one coordinated strategy and choose the pages and evidence your customers need.
Can you guarantee a ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity citation?
No. Those products decide which sources to retrieve and cite, and results change with the question and context. We report observed citations and referrals without promising inclusion.
Do I need a new website for AEO?
Often the first work can happen on your existing site. Review crawlability, important service pages and evidence before considering a rebuild. A migration is appropriate only when the current platform prevents necessary improvements.
Do I need special AI schema or an llms.txt file?
Google does not require special AI schema or llms.txt for its AI search features. Use accurate structured data where appropriate and maintain accessible, helpful pages. Requirements of other systems should be checked separately.
What does AEO or GEO cost?
Cost depends on the website, available evidence, priority services and implementation work. We scope discovery, content improvements and reporting together so you can see what you are buying. No fixed package is quoted before that review.
